A Journey of Dedication and Leadership
As I celebrate my 60th birthday and conclude my educational career journey, I reflect on a life filled with grace, growth, and gratitude.
I was born on 18 June 1965 in Duthuni Gudumabama Makononi village, the fourth born of the late Mr. Andries Matodzi Siphugu and the late Munzhedzi Tshiufhelwi Siphugu Gadisi. My early years were shaped by hard work, discipline, and a deep commitment to community.
My schooling began in 1971 at Tshivhambe Primary and continued at Ratshiedana Primary (then Ligege Komkyk), where I completed Standard 5. I matriculated from Lwandani Secondary School in 1984, a milestone that sparked my lifelong passion for education.
In 1985, I enrolled at Venda College of Education (VECO) and earned my Secondary Teacher’s Diploma in 1987. I later completed a BA degree through UNISA in 1991 and an Honours in Education (BEd). To strengthen my leadership skills, I obtained a Management Certificate in 2003 and a Micro-MBA in 2004.
My teaching career began in 1988 at Tshinavhe Secondary School. In 1989, I moved to Thambatshira Secondary, and in 1990, I joined Shayandima Secondary School—my professional home for 35 years. There, I taught Mathematics and Tshivenda with pride and dedication, shaping generations of learners. In total, I served the Department of Education for 37 years.
Teaching has been more than a profession—it has been a calling. I believe in the power of education to transform lives, and I am proud of the legacy I leave behind. As I retire from Shayandima, I do so with a heart full of memories and a spirit ready for new beginnings.

“She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”Proverbs 31:26
A Life of Purpose and Service
My journey of faith began in 1981 at the age of 16 and was baptized at the Assemblies of God in Mapate. That moment marked the beginning of a life deeply rooted in service, both spiritual and educational.
In 1984, I met my beloved husband, Nkhetheni Ronald Tshitovha. We married in 1988 and were blessed with four wonderful children: three daughters—Zwivhuya, Anza, and Mbidzo—and one son, Munei. When my husband received his calling to ministry in 2001, I stood by his side as we planted a church in Tshisahulu Gombameni Thondoni. In 2002, we were both ordained by the late Dr. N.L. Khorommbi of Charis Ministry.
In 2003, I was appointed as church supervisor, ensuring the smooth running of the ministry while my husband focused on expanding the church and ordaining pastors. In 2010, I was ordained as an Assistant Pastor. After my husband’s passing in December 2016, my mentor, Professor A.M. Masakona, ordained me as Senior Pastor of Christ Ambassador Christian Church in 2017. With the support of deacons and elders, I began leading the church and, in 2023, ordained six Assistant Pastors to help carry the vision forward.
To strengthen my calling, I pursued theological studies alongside my teaching career. I trained as an Evangelist in 2003, studied Prophetic Ministry in 2005, and earned a Certificate in Theology in 2010, a Diploma in Theology in 2011, and a BA Degree in Theology in 2012 from Faith Bible College.
In 2024, I felt a renewed calling to serve the youth. I adopted ten schools, visiting them with my team to pray for learners, motivate them, and provide essential stationery. This initiative deepened our relationships with school principals and allowed us to minister to the next generation in a meaningful way.
Throughout my years at Shayandima Secondary School, I also served as a spiritual mother through the Learners Christian Movement, caring for the needy and guiding the broken. My life has been one of purpose and service. My God has been my Ebenezer—my help and my guide. Amen and Amen.
